Description of the walk from the Friends of the walk; ‘The Friends hosted Long walk, is a group walk, it is not a race. Though there is a need to keep a steady pace, people are often discussing the landscape, enjoying some mindful walking, taking photos, and some walkers are just unable to walk at a fast pace. If you find you cannot vary your pace, and can only walk fast, you may find it frustrating, and will need to adjust. The expected average walking pace is 5 kmh.’
