Leader: Pam Hayes Greg Smith    View Leaders List

This walk has sections that range from Grade 1 to 4!!   The Grade 4 section is sustained and involves rock hopping, scrambling up a creek and scrub bashing.  Participants need to be appropriately skilled.

Starting at Stanwell Tops, we’ll follow the Wodi Wodi track to its junction with Stanwell Creek.  Weather permitting, there will be the opportunity for a swim in a picturesque waterhole.  We then continue upstream following the south branch of the creek passing several pretty waterfalls to the escarpment where we make a side trip to an interesting overhang.  On returning to the waterfall at the top of the escarpment we continue south until we can climb out to Coalcliff Dam.  From there we make our way back to Stanwell Tops.  If the water level in the creek is not too high, we should keep our feet dry.
