We received the following notice from Bushwalking NSW regarding their upcoming AGM with a request that we circulate the invitation to all our members:


August Annual General Meeting

The Barrington to Boonah Trail

At 7pm for 7:30pm on Tuesday 17th August, 2021 via Zoom

Please pass this invitation onto all your club members and friends.


Highlights for the evening include:

  • The Barrington to Boonah Trail

To be presented by Gavin Dale, Secretary, Bushwalking Qld. Inc. and David Bell, Vice-President and Tracks & Access Officer, Bushwalking NSW Inc.

The Barrington to Boonah Trail vision is to foster the development a continuous trail linking World-Heritage Gondwana Rainforests between Sydney and Brisbane.

The trail extends between the Tops to Myall Trail in the Barrington Tops and Boonah-Ipswich Trail at Boonah. It passing through as many Gondwana Rainforests of Australia as reasonable. The trails should also allow access to various points so that small sections can be walked.

Importantly, we will elect the Bushwalking NSW Management Committee on the night of the AGM, and we welcome committee members and nominations from all our clubs all over NSW & the ACT – you are welcome to attend committee meetings remotely.  Please nominate/express interest here.  These roles need to be filled:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Between 3 and 7 Ordinary Committee members

Bushwalking NSW cannot exist without our Management Committee and we send a hearty vote of appreciation to our current, past and future committee members.
