Summer 2021 Newsletter

PRESIDENT’S REPORT

Dear fellow Ramblers,

This is the final newsletter for 2021.  A year that we will all be very thankful to see the back of and look forward to a better year ahead.  Let’s hope we have no more lockdowns, and we can get back to what The Ramblers Club does best, getting out in the fresh air and enjoying each other’s company with some interesting activities.

Thank you to the leaders who are back on-board organising activities especially those who have led trips away.  Some members were lucky enough to get away to the Snowy Mountains region on a recent cycling trip.  There are some great photos posted in the Gallery on our website.

I hope to see as many members as can attend the AGM and Christmas picnic.  (Details are included in this newsletter).  During 2021 the Club had its 30th birthday which we were not able to celebrate at the time.  However, we will mark the occasion at the AGM with a birthday cake and a hearty cheer.

On behalf of the Committee I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.

Fred Morrison
