Recce, recky, reckie, or recon, however you say it, reconnaissance is not without its dangers.

If you are doing a recky for a walk, paddle or ride, there is a Reconnoitre Activity Register on the Forms page on the website to be filled in and returned.

This is important for insurance purposes, in case of accidents or if the battery goes flat on your GPS and you get lost! So can leaders please fill in a form before the recky.
