The Spring 2018 Newsletter comes with a program full of activities to enjoy during the next three months and beyond. Look out for the trips away that have been planned for 2019 – you will find them at the end of the program. They are always popular so it’s a good idea to register early.
Our AGM is fast approaching, and we are again appealing to all members to consider nominating for a position on the Committee. The Club has grown over the last 3 to 5 years, not only in terms of the number of members but also with respect to the number of activities we do each week. All 10 committee positions will become vacant at the AGM. In recent years there has been some doubling up of roles – to keep doing this is not sustainable. We need more people on the committee, some new faces and new ideas. Please consider joining the management team. Brief summaries of each position can be found on Page 4.
Our membership fees will be increasing by $5.00 effective 1st September. They have remained unchanged for the last 3 years. We need to increase them now to ensure that the Club continues to be in a strong financial position in the years ahead. Further details are on Page 5.
